The main newspaper of the university is The Daily Beacon. The newspaper has over 100 staff employed and publishes 15,000 copies of the newspaper every day, five days a week.

There are three different types of residences - traditional style, suite style, and apartment-style. They all vary in prices and there is something to suit every budget. Some of the halls are female-only whilst the rest are co-ed.
